The app provides a user with authentication and authorization features besides providing the user with insight and control over their home automation system. The app provides an attractive and easy to use user interface.
The PineappleIoT app uses the MCL developed “Things Think” IoT cloud platform. The cloud platform provides a Web service api, a M2M MQTT server, an IoT database and rules server. The entire cloud infrastructure is secure using SSL v2.0.
The app automatically detects if the device is a mobile phone or a tablet and changes its display accordingly. For tablets the display is an attractive panel display.
