We were recently asked by a client to integrate two APIs – EventBrite and Twilio.
EventBrite provides event management services. Attendees can register on the site and its API allows synching attendee details.
Twilio provides telephony services such as voice calls and text messages.
Integration of the APIs was done through a web application that fetched attendee details from EventBrite and as per programmed triggers generated reminders to the attendees. Additional marketing calls as well as text messages can also be sent from a provided mailing list.
The application can also be integrated with mailing solutions such as MailChimp for automatically generating emails based on triggers.
